She’s Always Known

Gracie Brooks has been interested in photography since she was a young girl. She would “borrow” her sister’s camera and use it to photograph anything and everything around her. Once she was in high school, she took photojournalism and was part of the yearbook team. She loved it so much, she participated in the yearbook in College as well.Gracie has always been the one behind the camera, capturing friends, family and memories. In 2010 she even did a family member’s wedding, and this may have been the spark that encouraged her to begin her career in photography in 2014.

She Believes in Magic

She believes that there is something magical in the ability to capture a moment in time in just the right way to tell a story. She knows that when you look at that photograph, you can be transported back to that event. This translates so well into Wedding Photography: the wedding is an event that couples’ and their families want to remember, and with Hart of Grace Photography they can relive that day, those moments, those memories. Gracie loves interacting with everyone during the wedding, but especially the grandparents. She knows it’s a very important day for them as well, and there is nothing better than when they hit the dance floor!

While Hart of Grace Photography is located in the historic town of Gordonsville, VA they capture weddings throughout Virginia and into Maryland, with an emphasis on the greater Charlottesville, Richmond and Fredericksburg areas.
