Destination Wedding Venue: Rose River Farm
Planning on having a small to medium-sized wedding? If you are looking for a stunning location Rose River Farm could be just the venue you are looking for. This farm is gorgeous! Views of Old Rag Mountain and Double Top Mountain surrounding the farm will ensure that your engagement or wedding photos have a spectacular backdrop.
Wedding Package
Their wedding package is very straightforward. Rent all three cabins (sleeps a total of 12) for a two day minimum and for $1000 site fee you get a 20×30 double peaked wedding tent, banquet tables and chairs. They will set up and take down everything.
Catering
Rose River farm has a list of caterers they recommend, but you can also DIY or select the caterer of your choice.
Fishing
There is a catch and release fish for fun pond located near the cabins that is included in the lodging rental. Fly-fishing for trout in the crystal clear Rose River can be arranged for an extra fee. Fly-fishing lessons are also available.
Hiking
Rose River Farm is close to some of Virginia’s best hiking in the Shenandoah National Park and several excellent wineries. A great weekend trip for you and your wedding guests!
