Destination Wedding Venue: The Greenhouse Venue

If you are looking for something different in a wedding venue, why not have a Garden Wedding in a Greenhouse? Brent and Heidi Lohr, the longtime owners of Greenscapes Nursery & Garden Shoppe have taken their passion for plants to the next level and transformed one of their greenhouses into a unique wedding reception venue.

The Greenhouse Venue

The large space is at it’s most magical at night, when the lighting makes the whole venue glow. There is an outside ceremony site and garden areas for cocktail receptions and photographs (including a cutting garden!). The greenhouse can hold 100 seated guests, and a built in dance floor means the reception flows from from dinner to dancing without interruption.

Greenscapes

Greenscapes has a wide variety of rental options to suit your style of wedding, from rustic to elegant. They are also a full service florist. Though they recommend hiring a caterer, Greenscapes is one of the few venues that will allow you to provide your own food and drink (with an ABC license) while providing you with coordinated serving dishes (and serving staff) if you want to DIY.

There are several wedding packages, based on how many “extras” the bride and groom may want.

They will also gladly host Rehearsal Dinners (whether or not you are getting married there), Bridal Showers, luncheons and other parties and events.
